Throughout the years R. Kelly has remained a mainstay in media headlines for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with his musical career. The 50-year-old R&B artist has been subject of numerous sexual allegations, with the most recent being a cult where he is accused of holding women in an abusive manner.

According to BuzzFeed and Jim DeRogatis, investigation surrounding the cult has been ongoing for months, as R. Kelly has already been accused of manipulating six different women in an atmosphere that can only be described as a “cult.” Each of the females are reportedly of the age of legal consent, making it somewhat difficult for law enforcement to take action. For now, no official charges have been filed against Kelly.

In response, R. Kelly's legal representative Linda Mensch has unleashed an initial statement: “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

While the investigation remains ongoing, social media is expectantly in an uproar over these sex-related cult allegations against Kelly. See below for how people are reacting. ? R.
