Rae Sremmurd released its third studio album, SR3MM back in May, and we've rated it as a "bonafide triple threat" from the hip-hop duo hailing from Tupelo, Mississippi.
Now, the official music video for "Guatemala," which is the track off Swae Lee’s Swaecation portion of Rae Sremmurd’s triple album has debuted, as the brothers escape to paradise in the video featuring Slim Jxmmi.
To start it off, the intro highlights that the video was shot a month before Guatemala was hit by a devastating volcanic eruption. "Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Guatemala," reads in the opening message.
Overall emphasizing their trip to the Central American country, highlighting its serene waterfalls, lush landscapes, and historic architecture -- the vibrant visuals also showcases the Rae Sremmurd brothers’ effortless style, draped in designer labels as they take over a local town and finesse the ladies. In addition, Mike WiLL Made-It and Mally Mall, who co-produced the song, also make cameos.
Furthermore, it's also worth noting that Interscope Records, EarDrum Records and Rae Sremmurd, will be donating $10,000 USD to the American Red Cross to provide relief, assistance, and care to all of those affected by this tragic event.
