Raf Simons' 2008 "De Stilj" (The Style, in Dutch) hiking boot has just gone up for auction at archive fashion retailer The Salvages.

The super-rare boot is undoubtedly one of his wildest experiments in footwear. It's equally as futuristic as it is retro, and nods to the Amsterdam neoplasticism art movement of 1917. It comes with a Mondrian-inspired color scheme and uses a wide variety of materials including leather, plastic and cork.

Originally sold for $1,800, the multicolored boots are now highly sought-after and very rarely seen on the fashion and streetwear circuits. Style icon A$AP Rocky did, however, wear them for his 2013 appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

Head over to The Salvages to make an offer.
