The app will offer insider access, behind the scenes content, the best of the men’s and women’s Polo collections, as well as first access to its most sought-after releases, along with vintage product selections. In addition, the app will provide user engagement via product voting and an “Ask Ralph” feature, which allows users to reach out to the designer himself.
Official availability for The POLO app launches on September 20, and it will coincide with Ralph Lauren’s ceremonial first pitch at the New York Yankees versus Boston Red Sox game at Yankee Stadium. To commemorate, Ralph Lauren and MLB have created an exclusive anniversary capsule, encompassing a classic baseball jacket, New Era baseball cap, Wilson baseball glove, and a Rawlings commemorative baseball.
The collection will be available for purchase on The POLO app, as well as at the Yankees Team Store in limited quantities. Fans will have another chance to purchase at the Ralph Lauren Madison Avenue and Prince Street stores in New York on September 21, followed by an online release at MLB’s online store beginning September 25.
