Editor’s Notes: Following its inception in early 2016, RAVE has risen to become a prominent player, not only in the french skateboard scene, but throughout the world. Having done well to encompass the many facets of the skateboard community, RAVE’s forward-thinking, somewhat comical approach to its presentation and seasonal collections has seen it endure great success over the last few years.

For its first Fall/Winter 2018 drop, RAVE Skateboards presents a range of graphically-charged layers across an equally-charged color palette. From flashes of neon yellow and bright red, the collection references, among others, John Carpenter’s The Thing, and the “speedy” graphic embellishments one might expect to see standing in the pit of an F1 racetrack.

In addition to the lookbook featured above, RAVE partnered up with Berlin’s Studio Otto to produce a second round of images, essentially side-stepping its established aesthetic, and making its run of items presentable to a whole new market.
