Gracing the Highsnobiety pages for the first time is upcycling clothing designer Yuta Hosokawa, better known as READYMADE. Working behind the scenes for a while now, with a new project now available at Miami's Alchemist, we thought it appropriate to finally feature the Japanese creative.

Digging through his Instagram account, a number of strong cosigns can be found, including a feature in GQ and an exhibition blessed by UNITED ARROWS head honcho Poggy.

Most recently, READYMADE worked on a backpack for Art Basel Miami that Chrome Hearts, Alchemist and Virgil Abloh's OFF-WHITE later customized, and which is now available for purchase in-store.

A tote bag, meanwhile, was done without OFF-WHITE's presence.

While much of his work tends to revolve around reworking vintage U.S. army gear to give it a modern touch, like this beautiful army jacket adorned with colorful patches reminiscent of a certain fashion house or an incredibly well-done version of the world's most famous handbag, some of it focuses on creating entirely new products like a beautiful Mickey Mouse pot made of wood.

Check out some more of our favorite pieces below and expect some big things from READYMADE in the future.
