The 8 inch Moc Toe Red Wing 4558 boot, a direct descendant of the famous 877 Irish Setter, is set to be released across Europe. The distinctive full-grain Oro-Russet leather has been roped in, first used in 1992, it soon became popular due to its bold shade of red. Having been discontinued, demand in Japan saw a return of the hide worldwide. To accompany, a special publication by Tenue de Nimes entitled “The evolution of a color” dedicated to the history of Red Wing’s Oro-Russet leathers will be released at the end of the month. The 4558 will be available at Red Wing Shoe Stores in Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg.
