When looking back on which artist brought in the most capital for 2015, you can’t help but think Adele – after selling an astounding 3.38 million copies of her third LP, 25, a mere week after its release – as the clear winner. But such isn’t the case according to Forbes‘ list of the world’s highest paid musicians of 2015.

These days, touring is the industry’s main breadwinner, and Katy Pery, who brought in $135 million over the past year, tops the list not only as 2015’s highest-paid musician, but also as the top-earning celebrity in the world, just after Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

Throughout the course of her ‘Prismatic World Tour,’ Katy Perry grossed more than $2 million USD per city, but also playing a key contributor to Perry’s financial feat were several endorsement deals with mammoth companies such as H&M, Claire’s, Coty and CoverGirl.

Rounding off the top five positions are One Direction ($130 million), Garth Brooks ($90 million), Taylor Swift ($80 million) and The Eagles ($73.5 million). Check out the rest of the list below.
