Adult Swim / Rick and Morty

The creators of Rick and Morty, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have just extended an invitation to superfan Kanye West to be on an episode.

In a video interview posted by the Blast, the pair expressed their love for the artist stating, “Ye is a fucking kindred spirit, genius, visionary,” says Roiland. “If that guy had the support to do all the ideas he has in his head, he’d be fucking Elon Musk 2.0.”

When asked about a possible collaboration with West, Roiland and Harmon quickly added that the rapper is “always welcome” and has an “open invitation” to come on the show and do a voice whenever he wants.

Harmon decided to take it even further and offered Kanye his own episode. “I’m giving him an episode,” Harmon said. “I’m making it official. We have 70, he can have one. Kanye, you can have one… It’s official. That would be fucking amazing.”

Wait! There’s more! Ye isn’t the only celebrity the creators what in the their studio. The very same day, but in a different interview, Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has also been extended the same invitation to do voice-over work anytime.

With the release date of Season 4 of Rick and Morty finally announced earlier today, how hype are you for an appearance from Yeezus and Harry Potter?

On this week’s episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by Iddris Sandu — architect and technology advocate who has worked with Nipsey Hussle on co-creating the late artist’s smart-retail platform and put his time in at Google at the age of 13, among other admirable accomplishments.
