'Rick and Morty' Is Imagined as a Japanese Anime in New Concept Video

Rick and Morty's dedicated fan fiction genre never fails to impress.

Back in August, Adult Swim showed an anime-inspired teaser clip for Rick and Morty's upcoming fourth season. Now Youtube channel Malec has gone one step further, building on that first trailer with a short clip, which features the show’s main characters portrayed as anime-style illustrations.

Rick, Morty, Beth, Summer, Krombopulos Michael, and even the beloved Pickle Rick character zoom through the multiverse to a Japanese pop soundtrack in the quick cut above.
