New ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Trailer Is All About the Death Star and Vader

After recently getting a peek at the second official trailer, Lucasfilm has since unleashed a new international look at the much-anticipated Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This time around, a focus is placed on the Death Star and all of its impending carnage, in addition to highlighting Darth Vader.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, as the chapter centers around a rogue band of resistance fighters who unite in order to steal the Death Star plans and bring new hope to the galaxy. Ultimately, the project explores the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective, while maintaining an essential Star Wars feel that has been so beloved for decades.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is due in theaters on December 16 of this year.
