Editor’s Notes: PUMA has teamed up with legendary Japanese electronic music instrument maker Roland to create a pack of sneakers that celebrates the iconic TR-808 drum machine.
The colors used represent the ’80s retro hues found on the TR-808, with both pairs part of a larger PUMA R-System relaunch which has seen the German sportswear giant collaborate with the likes of ADER Error, SEGA, and Polaroid. For this drop, PUMA and Roland combine an old-school feel with new-school technology to cap off an impressive tribute to ’80s beat-making.
