The new Rolex announcements are without any doubt always among the most anticipated during Baselword in Basel, Switzerland. Today the Swiss watchmaker announced an instant hit, the new Rolex Yacht-Master "Everose." The new black and 18 ct Everose rose gold version of its nautical Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master, comes exclusively with the innovative Oysterflex bracelet developed and patented by Rolex. This technical bracelet combines the robustness and reliability of a metal bracelet with the flexibility, comfort and aesthetics of a rubber strap. At its core lies a super-elastic metal blade over-molded with high-performance black elastomer. The bracelet resembles a rubber strap, while its resistance is comparable to that of a metal bracelet. The new Yacht‑Master is offered in two sizes: 40mm and a new 37mm diameter. The watch features a brand new black ceramic bezel with raised numerals and the movement sits in the Yacht-Master Oyster case, which is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 meters. We would argue this is one of the strongest releases to come from Rolex in a few years. The innovation, as well as the chosen colors are perfect, making it a sporty and at the same time elegant timepiece.
