Model: Feet You Wear Salvation
Key Features: The FYW Salvation features a white mesh upper with tonal overlays, with reflective detailing and green/yellow or brown/peach accents depending on the colorway.
Release Date: March 18 at 11 a.m. EDT
Editor’s Notes: Ronnie Fieg’s latest project with the Three Stripes sees the KITH founder and sneaker designer take on what he calls his "favorite adidas running silhouette," the recently relaunched adidas Originals FYW Salvation.
The Salvation debuted back in 1997 as part of the adidas EQT line and featured adidas’ ’90s sneaker tech Feet You Wear (FYW). The idea behind FYW was to mimic the shape of the foot to avoid injuries and provide a more natural gait while wearing the shoes. The Salvation was one of the first shoes to use the tech.
Ronnie Fieg has dressed his FYW Salvation in two colorways. The first features a white base, green and yellow accents, reflective detailing, and co-branded stitching. The second features a more familiar colorway, utilizing shades that recall the designer’s “Volcano” color schemes.
Both colorways will launch online at KITH today, March 18, in limited numbers. Only 1,000 pairs of each colorway will be made available online as part of KITH’s “Monday Program” drop system.
