Another day, another Netflix show to get hyped about. It's not every day, however, that people hail a new TV series as the best the streaming platform has to offer, calling it "genius" and applauding everything from the costume design and narrative to humor, relatability, and eye candy. Yet, this is the reaction Russian Doll has been met with.

The narrative follows a young woman called Nadia (Natasha Lyonne of American Pie and Orange Is the New Black fame), who is trapped in a Groundhog Day-like loop at a party she cannot escape. Watch the trailer below.

Notably, the show is garnering love for being created entirely by women: Lyonne not only stars, but she wrote and directed alongside seven other women, including Leslye Headland (Sleeping With Other People), Jamie Babbit (Girls, Silicon Valley), and Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation).

Perhaps more importantly, it's binge-worthy as hell, arriving in eight 30-minute segments that you can, and probably will, steamroll through in one sitting.

If you still need convincing, check out what Twitter has to say about Russian Doll below.
