The latest musician to participate in NPR’s celebrated Tiny Desk Concert series is Chicago emcee, Saba. In support of his sophomore studio LP, Care For Me, the appearance comes just days after Saba announced his first tour of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Korea, beginning in November.

Saba brought along virtually every individual who worked on the aforementioned album to participate in his Tiny Desk showcase, including his father.

“You’re not gonna believe me when I say it,” the young artist began before turning to the tall man wearing the Saba tee and Panama hat. “This is Chandlar, my father.”

There are multiple references to Saba’s dad throughout Care For Me, including mentions on “Life” and “Prom / King.”
