Sade’s first new song in nearly a decade has arrived. The British-Nigerian singer and Supreme muse has composed the track “Flower of the Universe” for the original soundtrack of A Wrinkle in Time,  and producer No I.D. couldn’t wait to share it. He uploaded the track ahead of the film release on Friday, and you can listen to it below.

News was first confirmed of this stellar musical collaboration by the film’s director Ava Duvernay, who wrote on Twitter: “I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled ‘Flower of the Universe.’ And it’s a dream come true.”

Starring Oprah Winfrey, Gugu Mbatha Raw, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling and Chris Pine, A Wrinkle In Time is based on the science-fiction novel of the same name by Madeleine L’Engle and follows the life of a young girl called Meg on a mission to find her missing father.
