Sampha has turned in a distinctly different version of Drake's sunshine anthem "Controlla." The Young Turks artist transforms the original, fluttering Caribbean summertime melodies of the hit record into the sort of candid and spectral composition that the London musician has become synonymous with. Take a listen to his whole performance for BBC Radio 1 here, starting at the two-hour mark. The “Controlla” cover begins at 2:14:17, and you can also hear him perform Process track “(No One Knows Me) Like the Piano” in the session.

Sampha recently appeared on Drake’s More Life  track “4422,” which was undoubtedly one of the album's high points in a great musical project for the UK artists involved. Listen to "4422" below.
