For its latest collection, Parisian running label Satisfy shot a video in the beautiful surroundings of Joshua Tree National Park, California. Directed by Pierre David and Gabriel Novis, the video follows Joshua Garrett Grubb, a psychedelic-rock musician turned ultra-runner. In the serene surroundings Grubb begins a monologue, lamenting the fact that a lot of people have lost their connection to nature, as he calls it "the hum of the mountain."
He then gets deep about what drives him to run, "I run because of the pain, I run because of the feeling, I run to experience the next level." He continues, explaining that running is connected to our fight or flight reactions, so to him it's special being able to harness that experience and control it.
