Avenir Telecom might be about to release the world's longest lasting smartphone: The Energizer-licenced P18K.
The cell phone was originally teased at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year and while its design makes it look far heftier than your average smartphone on sale today, it comes with quite the perk: 50 days of battery life on a single charge (when on standby mode).
This insane charge time is made possible thanks to the P18K's 18,000 mAh battery. That size also equals two straight days of video playback, 90 hours of calls, or 100 hours of music.
Other features include fast-charging, a 6.2 inch full HD+ display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, dual sim card slots, power bank function, and five cameras — three on the back and two up front.
Avenir Telecom is currently crowdfunding to make the P18K a reality over on IndieGoGo, where early birds can get their hands on a handset for $549. Check out the campaign page here, and watch the video up top.
