Alchemist and Snarkitecture Unveil Basketball-Inspired 'Airball' Installation for Art Basel Miami Beach

Following their collaborative capsule, Miami-based retailer Alchemist has teamed up with Daniel Arsham’s Snarkitecture on a special project for this year's Art Basel Miami Beach. Titled Airball, the installation centers around a custom basketball-inspired concept designed by Snarkitecture and installed adjacent to the Alchemist space on the fifth level of 1111 Lincoln Road - the Herzog & de Meuron-designed carpark. The centerpiece of the installation is an all-white elevated arena in which visitors are invited to play ball and compete side-by-side on two fully custom basketball arcade-style shootout games.
