Solange's A Seat at the Table has been one of the most successful releases of the year. It has hit number one on the Billboard 200, and music publication Pitchfork has named it album of the year, in addition to its appearance in multiple other end-of-year lists. Now she has appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon to promote the release with a truly stunning performance.
Performing a medley of A Seat at the Table's opening tracks, "Rise" and "Weary," Solange appeared with a backing band and two back-up singers. These singers appeared in a jaw-dropping gown that attached all three women together, a feature highlighted in the simple, yet visually arresting, choreography that they incorporated into the songs.
