Editor’s Notes: During the 2002 NBA All-Star Game, Michael Jordan played in the Lightning 17 lows for his 13th All-Star appearance, and as a nod to that particular style, Miami-based sneaker boutique SoleFly has teamed up with Jordan Brand to create a reverse twist on the Lightning color scheme.
With only 2,300 pairs produced worldwide and individually numbered, all friends and family editions of the SoleFly x Jordan Reverse Lightning 17 Lows were personalized with names stitched on the sock of the shoes.
The shoes will debut in LA on February 16 at Shoe Palace located at 7725 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046 in very limited quantities, while majority of the pairs will be released at SoleFly Cutler Bay.
In other sneaker news, KITH’s Nike LeBron 15 “Long Live the King” is also releasing this weekend.
