Paramount has just dropped the first trailer for its upcoming live-action movie that centers around everyone's favorite speedy blue ’90s SEGA character, Sonic the Hedgehog. Watch above.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the trailer highlights a super silly movie that follows the fast-running, talking, hair-covered, nostalgia-inducing Sonic as he embarks on his first big adventure in the real world.

Jim Carey stars as Sonic's arch nemesis, Dr. Robotnik, complete with Poirot-esque mustache, red coat, small sunglasses, and questionable one liners. James Marsden (Westworld), Neal McDonough (Suits), Adam Pally (The Mindy Project), and Tika Sumpter (Final Space) also star.

Sonic the Hedgehog is helmed by director Jeff Fowler and sees Parks and Recreation's Ben Schwartz voicing the titular creature. The movie is slated to land in theaters nationwide November 2019.
