The entertainment world is in mourning after Marvel Comics co-creator and cinematic legend Stan Lee passed away on Monday, aged 95.

Responsible for developing some of the most beloved characters in superhero history — Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Captain America, to name but a few — the imprint Lee has left behind is a mammoth one. Fans have emerged on Twitter to share tributes about how his characters helped to shape their childhood and give them hope.

Of course, celebrities form a bulk of Lee’s fan group, too.
