In case you were wondering, Stranger Things season two is an absolute hit, to pretty much no surprise at all. The cult Netflix original series reportedly saw its new season premiere viewed by 15.8 million people in the U.S. alone, according to Nielsen who is known for distributing network and cable TV ratings.

Upon becoming available on the streaming service, 361,000 individuals bing-watched the season's complete nine episodes on the first day.

In comparison, the season seven premiere of HBO's Game of Thrones was viewed by 16.1 million people, while 6.1 million individuals tuned in to The Defenders during its first week of availability back in August.
