Editor’s Notes: Supreme and Jordan Brand team up for a rework of the fabled Air Jordan XIV model. The shoe was famously worn by Michael Jordan during the 1998 finals when he secured his sixth and final ring. Inspired by the basketball legend's love of luxury cars, the AJ XIV would also be the last signature model worn on court by Jordan with the Chicago Bulls.
The Supreme x Nike Air Jordan 14 had long been teased and rumored, with an official announcement coming last week Monday. The studded design is said to have been inspired by a studded leather jacket worn by Michael Jordan at one of his ceremony appearances in 1995.
Last week’s Supreme drop sold out, with a Nike release set to follow today, giving all those that missed out a second chance at the coveted collaboration.
