Editor’s Notes: After months of teasers and leaks, Supreme has officially unveiled its Nike Air Tailwind 4 collaboration ahead of its release this Thursday (Saturday in Japan, as per usual). The sneaker will be available in two colorways and drop alongside two Nike running hats.
Confirmation comes after two major hints and leaks. Initially, Dayanne Akadiri of Supreme Paris had shared an on-foot shot of a black and blue colorway via Instagram, before @airrenny followed that up by sharing a red and white version.
The OG Air Max Tailwind 4 came out in 1999 and its relaunch fits with Supreme’s approach of reviving older, less heralded Nike models. In late 2017, for example, Supreme helped Nike to relaunch the Air Humara.
