Doug Jones Walked off To "Teach Me How to Dougie" After Winning Senate Seat

Tuesday night, the conservative state of Alabama elected Democratic candidate Doug Jones to their vacant Senate seat. This marks the first time a democrat has been elected to a Senate seat in the state since 1992.

Not only did Jones turn a longstanding red state blue, but he also defeated his Republican opponent Roy Moore, who has been repeatedly accused of sexually assaulting minors.

When Jones officially won, he delivered a victory speech as expected. What wasn’t very expected, however, was the fact that CSPAN-2 played “Teach Me How to Dougie” by Cali Swag District for a full 30 seconds as he was wrapping up.
