The streaming service Disney+ is coming to Tesla's Theater Mode, at least according to a tweet from CEO Elon Musk.

Theater Mode was introduced as part of Tesla's Version 10.0 update earlier this year, allowing owners to use the screen for more than just controlling the car. Since then Tesla owners are able to play video games inside their cars and binge Netflix and YouTube. Now Disney's new streaming service might join the entertainment center.

In a query posted to the "Tesla Owners of Massachusetts" Twitter group, a user asked whether a future update would accommodate Disney+. Elon Musk simply answered, "Coming soon."

If true, this means that, at some point in the not-too distant future, you'll be able to enjoy The Mandalorian in your Tesla — provided you have one. For now, streaming will only be available when the car is stopped, just like video games, but that may change when self-driving is fully approved by regulators.
