While Tesla continues to break boundaries with exciting updates in recent months, one user is taking matters into her own hands (or arm, to be exact). Talk about dedication, a Tesla owner has found a skin-deep way to unlock and start her beloved car. Software engineer, Amie DD recently released a video showing how she “biohacked” her body, by implanting the RFID chip from the Tesla Model 3.
The video shows Amie DD remove the RFID chip from the Tesla valet card using acetone, then placing it into a biopolymer, which is subsequently injected through a hollow needle into her left arm by professional who specializes in body modifications. You can watch the full process above.
The software engineer has also shared the project and details on her Hackaday.io page. However, there's no word yet on whether this "hack" actually works.
