Neon Productions has released the first official red band trailer for its upcoming comedy The Beach Bum, starring Matthew McConaughey.

Directed by Harmony Korine, the film exudes a similar theme like his 2012 hit Spring Breakers, as The Beach Bum features Matthew McConaughey portraying as the hard-partying free spirit named, Moondog.The short one-minute teaser above gives an indication that Moondog is slated to be another fan favorite Harmony Korine creation, with the film revolving on his hilarious misadventures and rebellious life.

Starring opposite McConaughey is a star-studded supporting cast, which includes Isla Fisher, Zac Efron, Martin Lawrence, and Snoop Dogg. Additionally, the film is already making headlines, as Matthew McConaughey revealed that he was tricked into smoking real weed on set with Snoop Dogg, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
