A first trailer has been unleashed for James Franco and Seth Rogen's upcoming biographical comedy-drama movie, The Disaster Artist.
The movie, which received a standing ovation at its SXSW global premiere back in March, is a true story about the making of The Room – the cult classic described as the “Citizen Kane of bad movies.”
In the clip, James Franco can be seen in the role of Tommy Wiseau, the director/producer/writer/lead actor/mastermind behind the film. A famously awkward thespian, Wiseau struggles to nail his lines, only managing to do so after several takes. The real scene, which would go on to achieve legendary status, can be viewed below.
The Disaster Artist arrives in cinemas in December and features additional appearances from the likes of Dave Franco and Zac Efron.
