With brands like Patta, Filling Pieces and Daily Paper emerging in recent years, Amsterdam is proving to be fertile ground for streetwear upstarts. We'd previously featured The New Originals' "Secundi" capsule in a recent "brands to watch piece," and now the label is back at it with "Eudaimonia" — the Aristotle inspired title of its first-ever FW16 collection.
An archaic portmanteau of the words "good" and "soul," highlights from the range include a new selection of T-shirts, a four pocket military jacket, a quarter-zip fleece, and an oversized jumper with branding. The campaign was shot by upcoming Dutch photography duo, Koers von Cremer.
When the collection drops on September 22, a special pop-up event will be held at the following address:
Reguliersdwarsstraat 1017 BK Amsterdam
And you can also cop online and worldwide in Japan, France, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
Staying in the 'Dam, Chanel recently opened the doors of a new store which features a quite gorgeous facade of glass bricks.
