It's hard to believe that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson made his WWE/WWF debut 20 years ago. Not only did he go on to become one of the biggest Superstars in the industry, but he has since conquered Hollywood and become the highest-paid actor in the world.

To pay homage to the wrestling roots that gave him his start, Johnson decided to re-watch his wrestling debut.

While most first-timers usually earn their first stripe at smaller events, The Rock (then Rocky Maivia) made his debut at Madison Square Garden at WWE’s Survivor Series in a matchup against Crush and Goldust.

Commenting on everything from his goofy haircut, to rookie mistakes, to the unexpected finish, November 17, 1996 definitely changed his life forever.
