Aside from being arrested earlier this year (which resulted in one of the greatest tweets of all time, period), Theophilus London has had a pretty low-key year. But in case you thought he was going soft on us, London just released what is one of the most intriguing singles of his career. It is called "Revenge," and it is a collaboration with indie star Ariel Pink. Listen to it below via SoundCloud:

As you can tell from the first few seconds, this is not your average Theophilus London track. Incorporating a sample from ‘80s synth-pop band New Musik, the track is a deliriously bubbly slice of retro-pop. This is of course right up Ariel Pink's alley, but the fusion of this sound into London's sound is melodic bliss. It immediately evokes ‘80s nostalgia, perhaps even more than watching Stranger Things or wearing sunglasses at night while dressed up like an extra from Miami Vice.

You can download "Revenge" for free right now via Fool's Gold. Stay tuned to see what London drops next.

In other music news, Gucci Mane has shared a music video for his single "Selling Heroin" featuring Future. Watch it right here.
