American coffee company Blue Bottle has expanded its chain by opening two new locations in Tokyo. The first spot is an all-in-one roastery, cafe, offices, barista training room and pastry factory, located in a former storage building at Kiyosumi-Shirakawa. The renovated location is quite spacious, open and transparent. In addition, the building features an indoor greenery and makes good use of wool and steel throughout, accounting for a Tokyo-specific industrial feel. The second Blue Bottle Coffee location, pictured above, is a large cafe located near the fashionable district of Omotesando. The cafe showcases a similar aesthetic to that of the all-in-one space in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, as the well-lit venue is also spacious, featuring an open kitchen with various seating and table accommodations.

Not NYC, not LA.
