Tourne De Transmission continue their journey across cultural landscapes with the Himalayan-inspired Fall/Winter 2015 collection "Noise." Taking its cue from Jean-Jacques Annaud’s film "Seven Years in Tibet," the desolate landscape of the region and movie inspires both the textures and color palette of this latest line. Pushing aside the confinements of European menswear design, this monochrome collection works with Ikkat and sturdy weighted fabrics including reverse washed denim, created from traditional techniques. Oversized coats, gilets and workwear-inspired jackets take centre-stage, with worn-in leather and light washed out cotton construction used across a set of perfectly matched, perfectly layered garments. "Not based in the necessity of the everyday modern wardrobe...somehow these elements lend themselves effortlessly to becoming just so."
