After giving you lessons on tie-dye and oversized button-downs, the latest episode of Itemized — in which we show you where to buy and how to wear fashion’s biggest trends — delves into track pants. Contrary to popular opinion, track pants can be worn on a myriad of occasions, aside from simply venturing to and from the gym. With the consistent evolution of athleisure, the track pant has become a staple that should be featured in virtually any wardrobe.

To kick off the third episode of Itemized, Noah visits Champion and 10 Corso Como to browse the shelves and pick up some pants. After landing a few pairs, Corey then showcases his expertise by styling our model in three very different looks.

When it comes to track pants, the main things to consider are comfort, color, and cut. From there, you can look at brands that have been killing it on the track pant front for years, such as adidas and Kappa, while everyone else has begun to ride the wave more recently, from Balenciaga and Valentino, to Needles, RHUDE, and beyond. Here, we’re utilizing styles from adidas, Needles, and Balenciaga, in particular.

Our first look is geared towards the guy who wants to take part in the trend, but isn’t exactly sure how. Our model is seen pairing track pants with items you probably already have. The second look, on the other hand, is for someone who knows brands and is interested in fashion, but is particular when it comes to investing in pieces. This outfit is slightly more outlandish, but can still be pulled off fairly easily. Lastly, the third look is for the individual who is obsessed with designer labels and ready to blow a stack. Our model dons Balenciaga track pants with a COMME des GARÇONS sweater, an Our Legacy bowling shirt, and a pair of loafers, all equating to a more dressed-up ensemble.
