Model: 805 X MLT
Key Features: Constructed using suede and durable nylon, the UGG 805 X MLT is the brand’s take on the popular maximalist performance sneaker. An exaggerated Treadlite UGG midsole with a rubber outsole provide height and cushioning, while a multi-panelled upper comes complete with a forefoot zip.
Release Date: Available now
Price: $150 (Triple Black) / $220 (Light Brown)
Editor’s Notes: A light brown version of UGG’s maximalist 805 X MLT sneaker is available through Japanese retailer Coverchord, after the American footwear brand unveiled a triple black version of the kicks earlier this year. The sneaker strays from what UGG is known best for, its shearling lined boots, and is the brand’s take on exaggerated performance silhouettes, combining a thick rubber sole with a busy, sports-inspired upper.
The lighter brown version looks to be limited to Coverchord, while the all-black iteration is also still available, though at a wider variety of retailers such as Coverchord, Urban Outfitters and UGG directly. Due to pricing differences, the sneakers cost 23,760 yen on Coverchord (approximately $220), while the triple black colorway available through UGG and Urban Outfitters costs $150.
