Brand: UNDERCOVER

Season: SS19

Key Pieces: For an eye-catching Fall/Winter statement piece, the transparent blue jacket in slide #9 would be perfect, and for something cozy, the solar system print pyjama-style shirt and pants in slide #14.

Release Date: Summer 2019

Editor’s Notes: Jun Takahashi has paid homage to several influences here, with seven vastly different lookbooks to showcase the SS19 UNDERCOVER womenswear Collection. Notable allusions are, firstly, to David Bowie and the album artwork from his seminal 1973 album Aladdin Sane which is featured across knitwear and printed pants in slide #1. There's also a subtle reference to Stanley Kubrick's 1971 adaptation of A Clockwork Orange too, as signified by the all-white looks in slides #5 and #6.

In other style news, Shayne Oliver's latest project might just be the only winter jacket you'll ever need.
