UNIQLO announced today that it would be launching a new collaborative collection with designer and Bottega Veneta Creative Director Tomas Maier. Dubbed “tomas maier and uniqlo,” the collection will start hitting shelves early summer 2018.

The collaboration will see Maier design both men’s and women’s clothing for the Japanese fashion label. It will be available in store and online at UNIQLO.com.

According to the press release, Maier’s debut collection will combine the creative director’s penchant for relaxed designs with UNIQLO’s promise to create high quality and functional pieces at fast fashion prices.

“The concept of my brand is based on simple yet sophisticated designs," Maier said. "I am very happy with how we have integrated UNIQLO’s unmistakable technology and expertise into our collaborative project and I hope that we can give customers a chance to escape their hectic lives with this collection.”

While no further information on what pieces will make up the collection has been announced, you can watch a short interview with the designer below.
