
Paris-based label Vetements has announced the hiring of Nina Nitsche, who was first assistant of Martin Margiela of Maison Margiela for close to two decades.
Confirmed by founder and creative director Demna Gvasalia, the news represents a new era in Vetements' history as Gvasalia himself has been quoted as saying "Now it's becoming adult."
Nitsche will be heading Vetements' design team as collection director, in charge of the design team under Gvasalia's direction.
