While recently in Montreal, Vic Mensa got together with the crew at MONTREALITY for an intimate sit-down. Talk in turn surrounded politics in America, being woke, the tension between Kanye and JAY-Z, Geminis in hip-hop, and more.

One standout topic from the conversation came when Vic insisted he should play Prince in his biopic. “I think I should play Prince in the biopic. Prince is one of my biggest idols of all time and he’s the real King of Pop, some people will be mad that I said that,” Mensa stated. “The reason why I’d be able to kill the role as Prince is because I got that mouthpiece, Prince was butter smooth with it and I feel like I could do it.”

In speaking on Kanye and JAY, he added, “Nobody likes it [the tension between the two], I don’t think they like it. That’s the delicate thing about male ego, relationships go through strain and the real relationships live past it, as I believe Kanye and Hov 100% will.”
