Andrew Trotter recently finished a stunning three-bedroom holiday home called Villa Cardo, located 15 minutes from Brindisi Airport in Southern Italy. Built using local materials and traditional building methods, the house fits perfectly with its Pugliese surroundings, sitting around from the Italian southeast coast.

The property is situated on one hectare of land and is full of life thanks to olive and almond trees positioned throughout. The roof terrace offers unobstructed views of the sea and the closest town, Carovigno.

Villa Cardo features spacious living and dining rooms, as well as a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom outfitted with a bath and double shower. The main bedroom has its own veranda with an outdoor bath and a private garden with an outdoor shower.

The remaining two bedrooms, which can be used as a small living area, are connected by a shared bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, while the other houses two single beds. A TV room is located downstairs with a bathroom and a Turkish bath with an outdoor shower. A complement to the main house, the guest house sleeps two people. Outside, you can find a kitchen with a grill and wood-fired oven, dining terrace, outdoor sofa, and sunbeds around a pool.

Villa Cardo is available for rent through Moroseta Villas.

Not NYC, not LA.
