After Twitter announced the death of Vine in late 2016, just four years acquiring the company, many of us mourned the loss of the six-second video format app.

However, Vine could be making a comeback, according to a recent tweet by its co-founder Dom Hofmann.

The tweet featured an updated logo using the app’s signature typeface color with the simple caption “V2,” hinting at the platform’s potential return.

Hofmann had previously teased Vine’s comeback on Twitter, writing that it is a self-funded “outside project.” However, it’s still unclear if the app will make a full return.
