Last week, Highsnobiety was invited to I.T Hong Kong to peruse the selection of vintage Rolex watches that were on display as part of a collaborative project with Japanese streetwear brand GOD SELECTION XXX.

Iconic Rolex models including the Day-Date, GMT-Master, Submariner, Sea-Dweller, Oyster Perpetual, Daytona, and Explorers I and II were all on display, with prices ranging from $40,000 to more than $700,000. The pop-up’s signature piece was an 18K yellow gold Rolex Daytona with yellow gold band from 1989, which cost an eye-watering $747, 500.

GOD SELECTION XXX, whose design concept is “Ain’t no fake. Ain’t no parody. This is fxxxking ART,” designed a tailor-made watch leather set, the goal being to unite vintage luxury with street style. The set included a leather cover and band, plus another band in nylon.
