Virgil Abloh just had his Instagram account hacked. The hackers posted two suspicious Instagram Stories that attempted to dupe the designer’s 4.2 million followers and reap financial rewards.

The first post tried to redirect followers toward a new Instagram account with the promise that a previously unreleased Off-White™ sneaker would drop once the follower count hit 50,000, a number that then changed to 200,000. The account reached 42,000 followers before it was shut down and the post was removed.

A second post then tried to get followers part with their cash, asking for either $5,000 in Bitcoin or $2,000 in Apple Pay in exchange for early pairs of Futura x Off-White™ x Nike SB Dunk Lows.
