Virgil Abloh has launched a new jewelry line, Virgil Abloh™, which turns the common paper clip into a luxury item. In an interview with WWD, Abloh described the collection as one that levels-up the everyday piece of office stationery in the form of earrings, necklaces, and other accessories using pavé diamonds.

The line's unveiling took place as part of an exclusive Paris Fashion Week pop-up space to coincide with OFF-WHITE's Fall/Winter 2019 show. The "Floral Shop" experience is taking place at the Hôtel Costes and sees the designer's paper clip collection sitting beside flower arrangements and OFF-WHITE pieces. The jewelry is available to purchase on request and the boxes (slide #5) are for decorative purposes only.

And if you're wondering what the deal is with the flower shop, Abloh told WWD it's a form of training for his fall-back career. “When I’m old and done, I will be in some remote town somewhere owning a flower shop. I have the concept already done," he said.

The Louis Vuitton artistic director continued, "It’s going to be super-weird, super-remote. I’ll be over it all and I’ll just be, like, putting creativity into bouquets. Who knows, it might be soon.”
