Partying with Virgil Abloh and friends is hard enough as it is, but ten times more difficult in Brooklyn on a Saturday during Halloween weekend.
Crowded and overflowing with over 5,000 drunk bodies in disguises scaling from Kanye West’s “Box outfit” to Jackie Moon from Semi-Pro, Circo Loco – a legendary dance party that’s been around since the late ’90s – consumed Brooklyn’s historic Navy Yard this weekend, bringing a splash of OG Ibiza dance culture to New York City.
In collaboration with Tek Support NYC, the freakish festivities brought together some fabulous faces and crazy costumes.
Circo Loco’s iconic parties have survived since 1999, migrating to the states via Italy. This weekend’s party featured sets from Louis Vuitton‘s newest artistic director, Abloh, and Peggy Gou— one of the hottest DJs in the world right now—among a few others.
With neon signs and trance-like sounds blasting from deafening speakers, Circo Loco christened the formerly unused space as a brand new venue. Held on the historic former Navy base, the venue is big enough to fit a US warship, but this weekend housed a few A-listers like Kyle and Naomi Campbell in celebration of all things spooky.
Some last minute party goers coughed up over $150 dollars to snag tickets at the door, but was all the hype worth the splurge? Highsnobiety participated in the ghoulish gathering this weekend, so you didn’t have to. Check out the photos we snagged and let us know if it looked lit in the comments below!
